Passionate Imaginative Leaders Of Tomorrow (The Pilot), a non-profit organization, is seeking dedicated individuals like you to join our board and help us make a lasting impact on the lives of young people impacted by the criminal legal system.
About The Pilot:
The Pilot, is a new nonprofit, that is committed to providing holistic and sustained support to youth who have been impacted by the criminal legal system. Our mission is to unlock the full potential of these young people, enabling them to thrive and achieve meaningful success. Our comprehensive programs and services aim to bridge the gap and create equitable access to opportunities for a brighter future.

Commitment to the Board:
As a board member, you will be expected to:

Attend Monthly Board Meetings: Join us for our board meetings held once a month. Your insights, ideas, and active participation will contribute to important discussions and decision-making processes.

Time Commitment: Dedicate approximately 5 hours per month to board-related activities, including meeting preparation, committee work, and occasional events or fundraisers.

Serve on Committees: Contribute your expertise and skills by actively participating in board committees focused on areas such as finance, marketing, program development, or fundraising.
Who We Are Seeking:
We are looking for dedicated individuals with diverse backgrounds and expertise who are committed to our mission and values. Ideal candidates for board membership should possess:

Passion: A genuine commitment to empowering youth and advocating for their rights and opportunities.

Experience: Professional or personal experience in areas such as youth development, criminal justice, education, fundraising, marketing, finance, HR or law.

Dedication: Willingness to actively contribute to board meetings, participate in committees, and support fundraising efforts.

Collaborative Spirit: The ability to work effectively as part of a team, value diverse perspectives, and contribute constructively to discussions and decision-making.
